Safety Audits If your business already has a safety management system in place a comprehensive safety audit conducted by McIntyre Consultancy can provide you with an up to date report on how effective your safety system is working and what measures may need to be put in place to improve compliance with statutory requirements. A safety audit will examine all aspects of safety, health and welfare at work issues. Accident Investigation There is a legal duty for employers to report prescribed accidents and dangerous occurrences at work to the HSA. Employers also have a duty to investigate accidents and take effective action to ensure remedial action is taken to avoid similar accidents recurring. Manual Handling Training Employees at risk of injury from manual handling activities must receive manual handling training at least every three years or sooner whenever changes occur.
